Okay, so here is the straight scoop on these. This is the most advanced rifle magazine we have ever seen. It is manufactured by a company by the name of AC-Unity located in the highly industrialized zone of Gorazde in Bosnia and Herzegovina. AC-Unity is one of the most respected and technologically advanced military contacting plants in the world. They are located in the former Yugoslavia, a region widely known and respected for the high quality of their military arms and accessories. This is the newest most advanced offering in their magazine line and after extensive torture testing through military applications they are now ready to introduce these to the civilian market. This new Quad Mag carries a full 60 rounds and will fit and function flawlessly in all AK-47, AKM, RPK, and other AK platform rifles in 7.62x39 caliber.

As you can see from the accompanying video's, these mags have been torture tested and will withstand abuse and function properly in even the harshest of environments.

Unlike drum magazines the AK-47 60 Round Quad Mag loads easily, inserts and extracts smoothly, and balances properly within the firearm. The mag also  features a last round bolt hold open follower and a clear window on the side to view remaining rounds. These mags are also easier to carry and store and lighter than a drum magazine, and due to the simpicity of design and ease of loading I would say more reliable as well while providing close to the same capacity as a drum. We feel strongly that they will ultimately displace a large portion of the drum magazine sales within the U.S. Market.

More about the AK-47 60 Round Quad Mag. The ACAK47 Magazine for 7,62x39mm ammunition is a light weight, ultra strong and highly reliable 60-round multi-platform magazine for all AK47/AKM platform firearms. The body is impact resistant through a wide range of temperatures, and is designed to withstand the use and abuse of all types of military and civilian applications. Mag body consist of a combination of space age polymers previously un-seen on the civilian market and all metal parts are hardened and corrosion resistant.

Note - As the name indicates this is a "Quad Mag" meaning that the rounds basically set 4 abreast inside the magazine. In testing these have functioned flawlessly however the stainless steel springs incorporated into the magazines internals are very stiff and loading the mag to capacity the first few times may be somewhat of a chore.  We have found that the mags do need a break in period and will become easier to load to the full 60 rounds after some use.
