There have been many different variations of an AK based 12 gauge shotgun come down the pipe over the last several years, but I think that this is the one that most closely resembles a true Kalashnikov. Beautifully designed, and very well made. Adjustable gas system, 3" chambers, etc. Comes with 2 factory 5 round mags plus for a limited time a bonus 5 round original mag for a total of 3 mags. Accepts all after market Saiga mags however due to the design of the mag well the Saiga Drums will not work. The Importer tells us that this firearm straight from the box prefers the heavier loads, 00 buck, and self-defense rounds. The gas block settings are explained in the user manual supplied with each gun. 3 positions and ‘off’. 1 being the smallest gas orifice, 3 the largest depending upon the weight and charge of the load being used.
Manufacturer is Chongqing Jianshe Industry Group ,Made in Peoples Republic of China (PRC), importer is IARMS LLC.
We have tried the Saiga mags for fit here in the warehouse and the SGM Tactical mags seem to perform better in this particular firearm that the other brands. As we have said before the drums will not fit due to the configuration of the mag well.
The EM-12B carries a 1 year warranty from the Importer.
Note - Classic Firearms has not function tested this shotgun and offers no direct endorsement as to performance nor do we offer any warranty. Warranty on the EM-12B is offered through the importer in Stuart Florida and any function or warranty issues should go directly to them. These types of semi-auto shotguns are notorious as to favoring particular loads or needing break in periods. While we have assurances from the importer that these firearms work properly Classic Firearms will accept no returns on this item.
