Introducing the Patriot Mag Release (BB Reloaded). This new “Bullet Button” has been approved by the CA DOJ and does not require you to register your AR-15 as an “Assault Rifle”.

The PMR system works by making the user remove the existing magazine by pushing the rear pin out which will then partially disassemble the AR-15. This action will then remove the mag making the rifle legal in CA. Once the gun is in this partially disassembled state, press the PMR and the mag will drop out.

The kit includes the extended rear take down pin and pull string. The extended pin and pull string combined make for quicker reloads. When purchased alone, this will need to be installed by you, the customer. You will need to super glue the center nut and tap the small steel disk against the center nut in the PMR, this allows the mag to drop freely with the push of a finger. If the disk is not properly tapped into place, a tool will still be needed to drop the mag.

If you decide to purchase this bullet button by itself, we will not install it on your current firearm. If you purchase a rifle and choose to have it ship to California, you can add this bullet button to the rifle on the rifle product page. NOTE: An upcharge of $10 will be applied (total of $60) as an installation fee when purchased with a rifle.
