These phenomenal Astra NC-6 revolvers are ex-police service revolvers that have made their way from Spain to the U.S. These revolvers are chambered in .38 special and feature a light frame profile with a 4" barrel. They are all traditional double-action which means that it can be fired by simply pulling the trigger all the way through ( Double Action ) , or you can cock the hammer manually thereby setting the trigger for a short trigger pull hammer release ( Single Action ). All feature a 6 round cylinder. Most, if not all, of these revolvers, feature rear adjustable sights, which are excellent for getting you on target. They also feature wood grips that are extremely comfortable and ergonomic in the hand.
Please see the extended description for full details.
Astra is a Spanish firearms manufacturer that was originally founded in Eibar, Spain, in 1908. After massive success, the company expanded and relocated to Guernica, Spain, in 1913. Astra is one of the oldest and most recognizable firearms manufacturers in Spain. Astra is renowned for their firearms, and they are still sought after to this day. This NC-6 revolver is no exception. The Astra NC-6 is a light frame revolver that is chambered in .38 Special and offers the shooter a six-round capacity.
This was the caliber of choice for the members of Spanish Law Enforcement who originally carried these and is still an excellent selection when it comes to an all-around effective handgun caliber. Ammunition is plentiful as well with numerous loads and bullet types available to suit every need. The lighter frame on this model makes it extremely easy to carry and more suitable for concealed carry.
Condition
Like most surplus, these revolvers will exhibit some holster and carry wear such as scuffs, bluing wear, dents and dings in the grips..., etc. We have noticed some revolvers from this lot that look phenomenal and still most of their original blued finish, while others exhibit more wear. Mechanically, these Martial revolvers are phenomenal and have a tight lock making them extremely pleasant to shoot. Most, if not all, of these revolvers, will come with a rear adjustable sight and wooden grips, but we do not guarantee them for individual characteristics. As with most police turn-in firearms, we received these in the condition the carrying officer turned them in as so expect to see some possible variations in the grips, sights, etc. We offer the best of 10 for Hand Select, which will get you one of the cosmetically nicer revolvers from this lot. Do not miss these!
