Collectors Take Note - Original Belgian Made Browning Hi-Power 9mm Pistol. Manufactured by Fabrique Nationale Herstal in Belgium - NRA Surplus Good Condition so expect some surface wear on the external cosmetic finish due to heavy carry but are in excellent mechanical condition. Comes complete with one 13 round magazine. The pistols sold under this SKU are the Browning Mk II Hi-Power. They are 1980's production. See features unique to this model under extended description below. See the accompanying video for a good overview of the pistols. Note - While the pistols are all original F.N Browning manufacture they are Law Enforcement Trade-In guns and some of the grips may have been replaced reflecting the preference of the original officer who carried it. The vast majority are still original Hi-Power black checkered grips or black thumb rest but we have not checked all of the grips and there may be a few aftermarket grips in the lot. Unless otherwise specified we do not guarantee for the grip type on any of these pistols.Clint took our last batch of Browning Hi-Powers to the range. Check out the live fire video!
Well what can I say.... we've done it again. And believe me, it was no easy task Several months ago we were extremely fortunate to be able to offer a very small lot of Original Belgian Made Browning Hi-Power pistols and the response was amazing. We knew that they would be popular but the demand far exceeded our small supply and that lot sold out very quickly. The calls however continued with people literally begging us to find more. Well, we called in every favor and left no stone unturned in pursuit of more of these and I am happy to report that the results were positive. We are so proud to be able to present this small new group of surplus Browning Hi-Powers. The pistols sold under this SKU are the Browning MK II Hi-Power. They are 1980's production. Features unique to this model include the following. The MK II features a small rib along the top of the slide in which the front sight is integral.Small drain hole in the end of slide beneath muzzleBlack epoxy or parkerized finishSpur hammerVast majority have original black checkered or thumb rest grips. Overall the median quality on these is NRA surplus Good. Expect some carry wear but they are mechanically excellent. A note to collectors - These pistols did not require a re-number and all maintain their original factory serial #'s .
Our original ad from our previous batch - What A Find, What A Find, What An Incredible Find - When we first learned of this rare opportunity to acquire some Original Belgian Made Browning Hi-Powers I was beside myself. This pistol was considered one of the most advanced models of its day and was the springboard that brought handgun technology into the 21st century. Not only that, but these Hi-Powers were manufactured in the original Fabrique Nationale Herstal factory in Belgium. In fact, they feature the original F.N Herstal Belgium factory stamp as well as the Browning patent stamp right on the slide. From what we have seen most serial #'s appear to match but we simply don't have time to break each one down to verify. The actions are amazingly smooth and the single-action triggers appear to be just as crisp as the day they were made. The barrel crowns are all in good shape and as with all Hi-Powers, the manual safety locks the hammer in both the half-cock or fully cocked position. Finish wear varies of course from gun to gun with some showing more holster wear than others but none are really bad cosmetically and all are in excellent mechanical functioning condition. We are calling these N.R.A. Good Surplus condition. Will show holster and carry wear but from a mechanical standpoint, these pistols are very sound and should provide reliable service for generations to come. Note - While the pistols are all original F.N Browning manufacture they are Law Enforcement Trade-In guns and some of the grips may have been replaced reflecting the preference of the original officer who carried it. The vast majority are still original Hi-Power checkered or thumb rest style grips. Don't miss this rare opportunity to own a piece of firearms history
