The Mauser Model 1895 is a modification of the Mauser Model 1893. First supplied by the Ludwig Loewe & Co during 1895-1896 then later by DWM, the Mauser model 1895 first made its appearance during a small arms race between Argentina and Chile in 1896 and 1898. The flush-mounted staggered column box magazine has a capacity of 5 7×57mm Mauser cartridges. The magazine can be loaded from a stripper clip, or with individual rounds.
These rifles were originally produced by DWM in Germany, and due to the date of manufacturing these are considered Antique firearms. Thus they do not need to ship to a FFL and can be shipped directly to the customer. The majority of the rifles have the shorter rear sight, but we do have a custom option to select the long rear sight option available on a smaller number of the rifle.
