The Columbia River Knife 2396, a compact, fixed blade knife, is a prime example of the Minimalist series. Its distinguishing feature is its functional, stonewashed spear point. Despite its modest size of just 5.2" in total and weight of only 2.1 ounces, this knife stands true to its minimalist name. It's a versatile tool you can bring wherever you go and can readily assist in any situation.
Conceptualised by Alan Folts from Melbourne, Florida, the original Minimalist knife has since blossomed into a full series of outdoor, fixed blade knives. Don’t be deceived by the small size of this knife- it's a small powerhouse. It manages to cram in numerous features into its lightweight design. The 2.15", high-carbon stainless steel blade is particularly easy to hone, and the spear-point design serves a dual purpose- bridging the gap between a dagger and a drop point blade. It is just as capable of piercing as it is slicing through materials.
The handle, fashioned out of polished resin-infused fiber, boasts deep ergonomic choils that guarantee a firm, non-slip grip. Another standout feature is its flexible sheath that can be worn around the neck, slipped onto a belt, or attached to gear.
