Features unique to this model include the following: Fixed Sights - Standard or Ambi Thumb Safety - Blued or Black epoxy finish - Skeleton Hammer. Some models may have aftermarket grips. The pistols in this group are graded with various NRA Surplus Condition. The primary difference condition-wise will be the amount of holster and carry wear on the pistol. However, all are mechanically excellent and should make great shooters. The FN Browning Hi-Power pistol was considered one of the most advanced models of its day and was the springboard that brought handgun technology into the 21st century.
Not only that, but this lot was manufactured in the original Fabrique Nationale Herstal factory in Belgium. The actions are amazingly smooth, and the single-action triggers appear to be just as crisp as the day they were made. The barrel crowns are all in good shape and as with all Hi-Powers, the manual safety locks the hammer in both the half-cock or fully cocked position.
Finish wear varies of course from gun to gun, with some showing more holster wear than others. Being that these are fair they may have more wear than others but all are in excellent mechanical functioning condition. Note - While the pistols are all original FN Browning manufacture, they are Law Enforcement Trade-In guns and some of the grips may have been replaced reflecting the preference of the original officer who carried it. Don't miss this rare opportunity to own a piece of firearms history.
