This amazing 12.5 " complete upper from Foxtrot Mike has all of the expensive features and high-quality workmanship that FM Products is quickly becoming famous for, but at a price tag that is very affordable. This upper is ready to drop in and push pin on your favorite lower and is built to function at the highest level of accuracy, and comfort. Trust me when we say this is not your standard AR upper. Just look at all of these features. This monolithic style Gen II Upper from F.M. is billet cut from aircraft aluminum and features a 12.5" match grade lightweight 41V50 barrel with a 1 in 8 twist, capped with a mil-spec A2 birdcage flash hider. The barrel is chambered in .223 Wylde which famously accepts and fires both 5.56 nato and .223 Remington rounds with equal ease and reliability. The upper features a lightweight MLOK compatible 11.75" free-float handguard with a patented 4-position ambidextrous non-reciprocating charging handle and a patent-pending failproof mid-length gas system. Utilizing a mid-length gas system with this 12.5" barrel configuration reduces recoil and barrel rise while still ensuring ultra-reliable cycling and performance. A Picatinny top platform spans the entire length of both the upper and the MLOK rail with an almost seamless transition, making sights and optics mounting simple and easy. This upper comes complete with the bolt carrier group installed. The bolt itself is mil-spec 9310 Alloy Steel w MPI with a 4340 HT carrier in a manganese phosphate finish. Best of all is the fact that this upper has a proprietary patent-pending integrated recoil system which allows the upper to cycle without a buffer tube. In addition, each complete upper ships complete with a Patent Pending Picatinny rail adapter with QD sling mount. This adapter threads into the rear of the receiver where the buffer tube would typically go, closing off the receiver and proving for sling-mounted firing and carry in the pistol configuration. It also makes this upper extremely adaptable for a number of different applications based on the shooters' desires or needs, including folding stock adapters, and the integrated recoil system provides for exceptionally smooth cycling and outstanding performance while even allowing the gun to be fired in the folded position.
