Yes, I know this is not surplus, but I have a few commercial offerings that I have had for a long time sprinkled in here as well. I remember buying this from an individual at a gun show a couple of decades ago. This was back when the .40 S&W caliber was gaining hugely in popularity and folks were switching from their 9mm's to .40 calibers in droves. I purchased it because I loved the look, fit, and feel of the gun in my hand. Still do. This gun fits my hand probably better than any I have ever owned. The all steel construction makes it feel solid as well. I also like the sights. Two white dots in the rear and one red dot in the front . The slide is smooth and it has an amazing trigger pull in both single and double action. The design is based on the CZ-75 and it is basically a clone of that pistol. It is in excellent cosmetic condition and the bore is like new. The problem is, it will not feed reliably. At least not for me. The first round will go fine but I will typically have to slap the slide forward from the rear to complete the chambering of the next round somewhere within each magazine. I'm sure it's not that the slide is too light. That feels perfect. I think that the ramp needs to be polished out or maybe broadened a little to make it feed properly. However, I'm not a gun mechanic nor have I ever taken it to one. I've just left it laying in the safe, in it's original box, for the last 20 plus years. In fact, when I was selecting guns to sell I pulled this one out and thought why am I not using this. Then I took it out and fired it and I remembered. It has feed issues. I have priced it accordingly and if you can get it running for this price you will be getting one heck of a deal, but remember, I'm telling you it has feed issues so if you are not willing to accept it as is... don't buy it. This pistol has been represented here through images and description with 100% accuracy as I know it and if you are not comfortable buying it based on this information Do Not Make the Purchase. All sales are final on this pistol. This gun ships in the original factory hard case along with the original owners manual and box inserts including a cleaning brush from when it was new. The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice surplus firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these "Gun Safe Queens" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don't get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and at this point in my life I've decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me. If you no longer see this pistol in inventory, you will know that it has sold.
