As a member of the Warsaw Pact, Poland adopted a copy of the Russian AKM, the stamped receiver variant of the AK47 rifle. The toughness of these rifles was such that many of these rifles are still in use in a reserve or training capacity today, and they can still be found in active use in Third World military capacities across the globe. Constructed at the renowned FB Radom armory and marked with the Circle 11 manufacturer code, these rifles are considered by many to be one of the best-built AK platform rifles in the world.
Each of these fine rifles was assembled on new US-made 1mm stamped receivers utilizing an original FB Radom parts set, and fitted with a brand new US-made chrome-lined barrel. The rifle's fire control parts have been modified to semiautomatic only function. The metal components are finished in a beautiful black nitride bluing, except for the bolt and carrier which were left in the white as originally issued.
The rifle's wood furniture is the original military surplus stock which greatly enhances the military look and feel of the firearm and the grips are original bakelite. There may be some wear to the furniture components from use or storage but even in the worst cases this wear will be minor and frankly only serves to add character to these fine rifles. The grain and color of the furniture will vary, and pictures are only intended as examples, specific rifles will have different appearances due to their unique characteristics.
Each rifle comes complete with a 45-degree muzzle brake, a cleaning rod, and one 30-round magazine. The rifle ships in a very nice tactical rifle case, and comes complete with a one-year manufacturer's warranty from JRA. Barrels are threaded 14x1 LH for compatibility with virtually all available AK muzzle options, and the rifles accept all standard AK magazines and drums.
The folks at James River Arsenal are experts at rebuilding/refinishing military-style rifles, and their skill is the reason we repeatedly turn to them for these kinds of projects. The rifles are finished with an eye for detail second to none.
Note - All rifles as shipped have enough U.S.-made parts to be fully 922r compliant.
