The Lantac 01MDA3BMDCOL refers to the notable Blast Mitigation Device (BMD) A3 Adapter Collar. Complete with a crush washer, this nifty piece of tech is constructed of robust steel and polished off with a sleek black oxide finish.

The BMD sets itself apart as a distinctive blast shield that permits the muzzle brake, securely housed within it, to operate normally in handling muzzle climb mitigation. The ingenious patent pending design is characterized by 'through' ports that connect the muzzle brake's vertical vents to the ambient surroundings. This enables the brake to work as usual within the device unlike other systems which tamper with the functioning of the original device, effectively reducing efficiency. Additionally, the BMD boasts diffuser grids located top of the blast shield that conveniently allow gas to spew upwards and forwards during firing, thereby enhancing muzzle control.

Impressively, concussive muzzle blast is directed forwards towards the range and clear of fellow shooters and teammates. The BMD incorporates radial teeth at the exit aperture which effectively interrupt blast gas as it leaves the device. A notable feature of the BMD is the fact it is mounted to the DGN556B Muzzle Brake via an adapter collar. Planned to accommodate a broad spectrum of brake outside diameters, this collar can be effectively installed within the range of .855'' to .872'' in diameter.

However, before ordering, it is highly recommended to use a quality vernier to check the outside diameter of your muzzle device. Deviations from the specified diameters might necessitate additional gunsmith work for fitting, or may disqualify the use of this product. Always measure from the circular part of the brake marked with the 'LANTAC' logo. Two robust clips attach the BMD to the collar, both requiring pushing in simultaneously to dismount the device.

The product also includes a vial of Rocksett for securing all mounting set screws when the adapter is affixed to the brake.
