The Lyman 7707004 is meticulously designed to handle the remarkable volume of our Mark 7 presses. Its superior performance is an outcome of carefully thought-out engineering in every element of these precision dies. Though specially designed for Mark 7 presses, they also deliver impressive results in regular progressive presses, turret, and single station presses.

Our premier consideration was the choice of material for the dies. We have used stainless steel for our size, seat, and crimp dies due to its exceptional toughness and resistance to corrosion. You can bid goodbye to the woes of rusted dies! Equipped with polished carbide rings, our sizing dies offer unparalleled wear resistance and force reduction during sizing.

The sizing dies also incorporate a spring-loaded decapping rod system, which ensures that the primer is forcefully ejected from the primer pocket. The rifle sets are integrated with our renowned M die neck expander. Our two-step expander plug guarantees the optimal neck tension and case mouth flare.

For the pistol sets, we include our uniquely designed flare die that allows bullets to properly sit on the case mouth before seating. The Micrometer Seating die, a key part of our sets, features a micrometer adjustable seating head for precision bullet seating length. Its floating bullet seating punch provides bullet centering on the case, thus eliminating excessive run-out.

Finally, each set comes with a taper crimp die (micrometer adjustable) to fully remove any case mouth flare, thus ensuring improved bullet retention.
