M14 Rifle Veteran's Model With Original Arsenal Turn In Stocks and Handguards, Military Configuration, .308, Semi Auto - By James River Armory

If you like authenticty, toughness and a great value you are going to love these. Same great forged receiver and new barrels as our other M14 rifles, but built utilizing original U.S. G.I. turn in furniture which allows us to bring down the price point. It will also appeal to the military enthusiast and that is why we call it the Veterans Model.  
Here's the deal. Part of the price tag on our standard model James River Armory M14's is due to the cost of the new walnut furniture sets utilized in the builds. They are beautiful, and there is no doubt that the entire package there makes for what I think it the highest quality M14 on the market....  but they are expensive.

The Veterans Model represented here is the same great base model rifle, but it utilizes original U.S. military arsenal turn in furniture with the bakelite hand guards that JRA has been able to obtain from the storage arsenals. This ( used furniture ) is able to be obtained at a much lower price point than the new walnut furniture allowing the build to be completed with less expense. The result is that you get the same great quality base rifle, but in furniture that looks like it was just re-issued back out of the arsenal. Stocks are a mixture of either birch or walnut and will show use in respect to carry and storage so don't expect new looking furniture. The up side however is that you get a rifle that looks like it was just issued back out to " the next soldier in line" . Stock even still have the selector switch cut out with a faux selector switch inserted in the cut away. 

This Veterans Model M14 rifle is a joint collaboration between Bula Defense Systems, and James River Armory. The rifle has a band new all forged Bula Defense premium grade receiver which serves as the building block for one fantastic rifle. Rile also has a new Bula Defense barrel as well as many other all new U.S. manufactured parts and original non refinished U.S. Arsenal turn in stocks and hand guard. 

This rifle is proudly built by James River Armory. JRA is recognized as one of the leading builders in the world of historically correct U.S. Military firearms and this may well be their crown jewel. From it's forger receiver, to it's historically correct original arsenal turn in wood stock and bakelite hand guad this rifle has it going on. Fully warrantied by James River Armory. Note - Stocks are typically either Birch or Walnut which was the case with the original issue rifles. Some build runs may contain all walnut while others contain all birch. Also, some may come with a heavier stain or laquer finish while others may have more of a natural finish. We do not select for type of wood or finish and even if  we did we may fall short as opinions and taste vary and beauty often lies in the eye of the beholder. Rifles come to us already in the hard case and pre-boxed and we have no idea which type of wood or finish on the stock will be in which box. For that reason we do not allow special selection for type of stock on these rifles.
