The Pioneer Arms GROM Series of AK47 Rifles is a new offering from this Polish Manufacturer and Importer of fine Kalashnikov-style firearms, in 5.56x45NATO. Named after the Polish special forces GROM unit, these rifles are a new take on rifle-length AK47s. Using the ever-popular Hellpup design as a base for this rifle, these feature a 11.73”, 1 in 10 twist rifled barrels with a pinned and welded barrel extension that looks like a faux suppressor, legally making the barrel a full 16 inches and allowing the firearms to be classified as a rifle. Since these are classified as rifles, this model features a traditional Polish horizontal underfolding stock. Featuring a 90 degree Hellpup gas block with a shrouded front sight post, and underfolding stock, this rifle creates the impression of a compact package, with a compliant 16" barrel, and redefines the style of the AK moving forward.

As a side note, with the barrel being pinned and welded to 16”, this is a non-threaded barrel firearm, though the muzzle extension will act as a narrow blast that can focusing the concussion forward.
