The RCBS 14801 comprises a pair of dies specifically engineered for the reloading of bottleneck cases. This set includes a Full-Length Sizer Die, armed with an Expander-Decapping Unit, and a Seater Die paired with a Bullet Seater Plug.
The Full-Length Sizer Die is designed to shape the case to Saami minimum cartridge dimensions. Beyond just adjusting the exterior of the case, it also de-primes and widens the neck to facilitate bullet insertion. The die features vents to thwart potential case damage from trapped air and over-lubrication. Implicitly, it ensures minimal headspace divergence to prevent any alteration to the case body length through the full-length sizing process.
Additionally, the package includes a Seater Die that integrates a roll crimper. This tool not only securely seats the bullet but also simultaneously crimps it, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of your reloading process.
