The Ruger 18028 Precision Rifle boasts an in-line recoil path that manages recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock, thus maximizing its accuracy potential. It comes with a Ruger Precision MSR stock that includes QD sling attachment points, a soft rubber buttpad, and a bottom Picatinny rail for added versatility.
The rifle features a left-folding stock hinge attached to an AR-style buffer tube and can accept any AR-style stock. It offers adjustable length of pull and comb height for custom fitting to the shooter's needs. Also, it has an aluminum 15" free-float M-Lok handguard that features M-Lok slots on all four sides for further customization.
The Ruger Precision Rifle's receiver and one-piece bolt are precision CNC-machined from pre-hardened 4140 chrome-moly steel for added strength and longevity. Moreover, it boasts a 20 MOA Picatinny rail, adding to its long-range elevation capabilities.
The rifle's cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel features a 5rd Rifling, medium contour, and a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake along with an included thread protector, ensuring stable and accurate shooting. In addition, the Precision Rifle has a Ruger Marksman adjustable trigger, ambidextrous manual safety, and a magazine well front.
The magazine well front of the rifle is contoured and precision machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum for added durability. Its patented multi-magazine interface ensures smooth and reliable magazine changes. This 308 Winchester model features a 20" barrel and comes with two 10-round Magpul Pmag magazines for extended shooting sessions.
