The Ruger 8532 is an AR-556 MPR rifle designed by Ruger, featuring a pistol-length gas system that ensures smoother operation and reduced recoil sensation. This is further enhanced by a matte black oxide chrome-plated bolt carrier and gas key which offer remarkable resistance to high-heat gases.
The lower receiver comes equipped with a Magpul MOE grip and a Ruger Elite 452 two-stage AR-trigger promising a smooth, crisp, 4.5 pound trigger pull. Its flattop upper receiver, forged from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, incorporates a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector.
The rifle's handguard, designed for accuracy, is free-floating and comes with Magpul M-LOK attachment slots positioned at the 3, 6 and 9 spots. It boasts a threaded, cold hammer-forged, 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel with ultra-precise rifling to deliver superior accuracy, durability, and ensures easy cleaning.
The barrel features M4 feed ramps which greatly enhance operational reliability, while the matte black nitride finish adds a layer of corrosion resistance. The AR-556 MPR includes a Magpul MOE SL collapsible buttstock mounted on the Mil-Spec buffer tube, and the package includes one magazine.
