Smith & Wesson 5904 Semi-Automatic 9x19mm Pistol Law Enforcement Turn In - Surplus Good Condition: The 5904 was only made from 1989 to 1998 – so it had a very short production life, all things considered. It has a 4-inch barrel and weighs in at 26.5 ounces. This was a rather light pistol for that time period when most handguns were made completely out of steel. The 5904 has an aluminum alloy frame helping it save weight as opposed to all steel pistols. The key upgraded features of the 5904 include a fixed barrel bushing, greatly improved trigger pull and control, 3-dot sights, and a beveled magazine well for the double-stacked magazine. Some sights are fixes while some are adjustable so the sights and the grips may vary. There may also be other minor variations depending on how the guns were turned in. All of these will ship with one 15-round magazine. The majority of these pistols are at minimum NRA " Good " Condition although we do have a few (until sold) listed as Fair that will be available under the custom options at a reduced price. The differences are purely cosmetic and all should make excellent everyday carry/shooters. The base price references the Good Condition Blued pistols as that is what we have the highest quantity on. Note: Regardless of the condition grade within that category they will have cosmetic differences with some being nicer than others. For those wishing to ensure the best condition available, we do offer a Hand Select option on this item. Images reflect style of firearm but configurations and conditions may vary as these are used pistols and are graded using the NRA Modern Gun Condition Standards.
