The Spyderco C36GPCMO showcases an understated, matted black blade design achieved through a DLC black matte coating. The steel component, being the heart of the knife, is constructed from the highly regarded CPM S30V due to its superior long-lasting edge retention and rust resistance. The 'Millie' features a modified clip-point blade, covered in non-reflective black, then expertly laser cut with a 14 mm Spyderco Round Hole. This aspect enables swift deployment and compatibility with gloves.

A textured area above the hole ensures thumb contact with the blade's spine during use, providing confident control over the sharpened edge. The handle scales, made of top-quality G-10 material, house the lock's liner directly into the scale. This unique feature enhances the lock's strength without requiring additional bulky liners. The strategic placement of spacers between the scales introduces a gap that extends the full length of the handle, facilitating defect detection and cleaning.

The front end of the handle is slightly flared, shaping into a finger choil, and the butt end of the handle ensures the knife will not slip forward or backward during intense cutting or sawing. Complementing the overall design is a contoured black metal clip configured for right-hand tip-down carry.
