Armas Trejo SA manufactured the Modelo 1, 2, 3, and 4 pistols from 1948 to 1972 in .22, .32, .380, and 9mm. In this time they made 100,000+ handguns for civilian and military use. Some of the most popular models were the "rafaga" versions of the Modelo 1 and 2, fully automatic machine pistols legal for civilian ownership in Mexico and the US until banned from import in 1968. The Modelo 2 Especial was a military version issued to the Mexican army.
The Trejo factory was closed in 1972, due to political changes in Mexican gun laws, but in 2010 the factory was successfully reopened by the grandchildren of the company founder, and Trejo is again producing the distinctive Trejo design.
With a gorgeous all black appearance, the action and disassembly function exactly like a full sized 1911. Comes with two 11 Round detachable magazine.
