The AR-57 rifle is one of the most unique weapon platforms I have ever seen. Loads through the top, discharges through the bottom. Very mild recoil and highly dependable. This is the Gen 2 variation and features many improvement over the already highly successful original model. Accepts readily available AR57 and FN PS90 50 round and 10 round mags. Accepts virtually all of the upper accessories that would fit a standard AR. l 

Lower receiver is standard AR-15 platform. This upper is precision machined from a one piece aluminum forging. The integrated picatinny-style quad rail system allows attachment of various accessories. A parkerized chrome alloy bolt and full-floated barrel ensure reliability and accuracy. The teflon-infused hard coat anodized aluminum upper and rails guarantee durability for years of shooting enjoyment. The updated charging handle and magazine release of this Generation 2 rifle allows for easy manipulation of the controls and is very user friendly. The Gen II design also has new and improved features, such as a fluted barrel, making it even more popular than the original Generation 1 upper assemblies. The top feed and bottom eject also help to make this upper fully functional for right or left handed users. A carbine style (3 1/2 inch) buffer is included, rifle length stocks require the AR57-A2 buffer (6 inch), which must be obtained separately. Comes complete with two 50 round mags - additional mags available.
