Bergara takes pride in its Premium 416 stainless steel barrels, crafted meticulously through a proprietary honing process at our dedicated barrel-making facility located in Bergara, Spain. Afterwards, these barrels are sent to the Bergara USA factory, where they are treated with a durable and aesthetic Cerakote finish.

The barrels are then combined with our exclusive Bergara PREMIER action, which showcases a non-rotating gas shield, an ingeniously designed coned bolt nose, and a sliding plate extractor. This two-lug system is specifically devised with a separate floating bolt head that diligently ensures contact with the lug abutments within the action mechanism.

Additional features include a cone-shaped bolt nose devised for smooth cartridge feeding, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor positioned to the front of the lower locking lug. The bolt body is a one-piece structure created from stainless steel, equipped with a pad at its rear that is primed to accept the threaded-in bolt handle.

For maximum durability and to provide self-lubricating properties, the bolt head, the non-rotating gas shield, the bolt handle, and bolt shroud are all fully Nitrided. This ensures the longevity and consistent performance of Bergara's premier firearm.
