The LEE Precision 90039 is a comprehensive Lube & Size Kit. This kit, crafted by Lee, allows you to effectively lubricate and accurately size cast bullets. Its versatility extends to the seating and crimping of gas checks, further enhancing its usability. It must be noted, however, that this kit is specifically designed for use with single stage presses only.
The included sizer die has standard 7/8 x 14 threads. It operates on a nose-first basis, passing bullets through the sizing die. This innovative process eliminates the need for special nose punches, as a push-through punch is judiciously used in place of a shell holder in the ram.
Once sized, bullets are conveniently captured in a specially designated container. When working with cast bullets, it's advisable to choose a sizing kit that is .001" larger than the groove diameter for optimal results. This kit comes complete with a sizer box, sizer punch, and sizer die. You also receive clear and straightforward instructions to guide you through the process.
Important to note: Lee Liquid Alox and the press equipment are not part of this package and they need to be purchased separately.
