This product is the Magpul MAG517-RGR which includes the MS1 MS3 QD Adapter. This adapter features a durable manganese-phosphate finish and a push-button QD Sling Swivel for one-point attachment. An exclusive aspect of this product is that it can easily be merged with the MS1 Sling (MAG513) and an additional Paraclip (MAG541) to enable a swift transition between one-point and two-point configuration.
The product is designed with a 1.25" wide nylon webbing material. Additionally, the colored webbing has undergone Near Infrared (NIR) treatment, which serves to lessen the IR signature. This product is perfect for rear attachment. It functions well with receivers, end plates, and buttstocks that contain a push-button QD socket for one-point attachment.
To use this adapter, snap-hook style sling loops with an inner diameter of at least 3/8" are needed. However, using sling loops of 9/16" or bigger would provide full range of motion of the Paraclip.
