Introducing the A.S. Designs Super Safety Kit featuring the Hoffman-Designed Super Safety. The Super Safety is an active trigger system for the AR-15. An active trigger is a trigger that actively resets, allowing faster, more efficient follow-up shots. This converts your standard AR-15 safety to a push-button safety very similar to that of a shotgun. The Super Safety is compatible with any AR-15 that uses a mil-spec fire control group and bolt carrier. Constructed from heat-treated 4140 steel, both the cam and lever are engineered to withstand heavy use while maintaining consistent operation. To enhance corrosion resistance and provide a clean, low-profile finish, the cam and lever both feature a durable black oxide coating. This kit includes a pre-cut trigger, a rounded safety detent, and a PLA Pro centering block, helping ensure proper alignment and smoother installation during assembly. Built with quality materials and attention to detail, the AS Designs Super Safety is designed for builders seeking dependable components and precise fitment in their setups. To use the super safety in the MP5 (SP5, AP5, etc.), you will need a new lower that uses AR FCG parts and the MP5 Slip Trip. The super safety does NOT work with the stock MP5 lowers.
