The Magpul MAG551-GRY is an MOE SL Hand Guard, specifically designed for AR15/M4 firearms equipped with a mid-length gas system and an A2 front sight. Boasting a lightweight design without compromising on modularity, this handguard features M-LOK accessory slots for ultimate customization. Its heat-resistant polymer build offers sturdy operational reliability, eliminating the need for a weighty, costly aluminum rail hand guard, while an integral riveted aluminum heat shield is included for safety.

Strategic placement of M-LOK slots at the two, six and ten o'clock positions facilitates the attachment of Picatinny rail sections and other directly attached M-LOK accessories. This is ideal for mounting items like tactical lights, slings, grips and more. Featuring a wide front extension and a lower lip, this handguard not only protects you from the heated front sight assembly but also effectively extends the useable length of the hand guard itself.

Installation is a breeze, made possible by using the pre-existing delta ring and round front hand guard retaining cap with a standard A2 front sight assembly. Please note that this mid-length MOE SL Hand Guard serves as a direct replacement for most factory-issued, two-piece, mid-length hand guards, provided they have a round front hand guard retaining cap and a rear spring-loaded delta ring. Some mid-length firearms may have a triangular retaining cap and will not be compatible. Hand guards for piston-operated AR platforms aren't compatible with this model.

If the A2 front sight assembly has a factory sling swivel, it must be removed for use with this handguard. *Must use with the A2 front sight assembly, as other gas block models are not compatible. Proudly made in the USA.
