The Weaver 99472 is designed to provide a precision fit for a wide range of firearms including modern sporting rifles, competition pistols, inline muzzleloaders, or bolt-action hunting rifles. It comes with an extended Tactical Picatinny Multi-Slot Base, which provides an additional 1-inch of forward length, offering greater flexibility with mounting options. One of its standout features is the integral recoil lug and no slip/strip Torx screws.

Built with 6061-T6 aluminum, it is crafted to endure heavy use and comes with a matte hard coat anodized finish for improved durability. This versatile multi-slot base is compatible with both Picatinny and Weaver style rings. Notably, it is also compatible with Browning AB3 long action rifles, thus augmenting its scope of use.
