The Wilson Combat TRBCA is a meticulously engineered bolt, seamlessly crafted from highly durable Carpenter No. 158 steel. Its increased strength comes through shot peening, augmenting its ruggedness for long-term use. Important elements like a tool steel extractor and ejector, coupled with an appropriate extractor spring, are included to ensure a smooth operator experience.

Notably, the bolt undergoes a process of Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), supplemented by random High-Pressure Testing (HPT) to guarantee optimal performance. The extractor features 4140 gun quality, is annealed, and cold-drawn steel as per the military specification (Mil-Spec).

Further enhancing its features is the Parkerized exterior, with an internal chrome lining in the 8620 steel carrier. It accommodates a carefully machined Mil-Spec gas key; that key exhibits a chrome lining, phosphated heat treatment as per the military's rigid specifications. The installation of the Mil-Spec gas key to the carrier is secured through Grade 8 fasteners and is meticulously staked within Wilson's facilities during an intensive final inspection process.
