The Winchester 535206289 rifle, known as the Model 70 Extreme Weather Stainless, is designed with a Bell and Carlson composite stock, offering durability and a comfortable lightweight design. The stock is textured in charcoal gray with a matte finish for a rugged appearance and enhanced grip in challenging conditions. It also includes a sculpted cheekpiece for improved eye-to-scope alignment regardless of the shooting position. To reduce recoil, it is equipped with a black Pachmayr Decelerator pad, especially useful for high-performance magnum cartridges. This rifle boasts features such as the Pre'-64 type claw extractor with Controlled Round Feeding, allowing easy cartridge withdrawal from the chamber. The free-floating, fluted stainless steel barrel is manufactured in the same factory as U.S. military rifles and machine guns, and is designed with a recessed target crown for rifling protection.
