US Mfg SKS 30 Round Steel Detachable Mag

These are quite hard to acquire, so we've had these manufactured for us by a private contractor.

30 Round All Steel detachable. Remove the 10 round mag and these go in and out of the open magazine well. Magazine's forward arm locks under magazine retaining lug in the front and is retained by the mag latch in the rear.

SKS rifles were designed to accept the original 10 round fixed magazine that they were issued with. All high capacity mags for SKS rifles are aftermarket and may require some light fitting or adjustment to seat and work properly in your SKS.

I have installed hundreds, if not thousands of these into SKS's and I have never had one that I could not get working properly within a few minutes, however, you can expect to have to do some light fitting, bending, or filing to get the mag to fit your individual rifle. The issue is not the mag, they are high quality and all exactly the same and designed to be as user friendly as possible. The issue is that SKS rifles were acceptable within a very wide tolerance range and many rifles are slightly different at the mag well.

We are convinced that these are the best SKS detachable mags on the market and the easiest to work with.  However, whenever we sell these we always have folks that call back and say that this mag doesn't fit their rifle.  Well the truth is, that it does fit but some fitting work may be required.

If you are not able or willing to do some fitting work or do not understand how these mags seat and function in an SKS rifle, (They must lock in front first and then roll up and in from front to back) then do not order this item.
