From Ben's Private Collection, Russian TTC Tokarev Pistol, 7.62x25, CCCP Soviet Grips, G/V.G. Condition, 2 Mags & Holster, Ser# AB1428, C& R Eligible

 This Firearm Will Go Live on The Site for Sale at Noon E.S.T. on Monday Dec 8, 2025. The Russian variation of the Tokarev pistol has become one of the harder to find models and this is a pretty nice one. It is an import, and it does have a very small import stamp on the left side of the slide showing that it was brought in by Century Arms in Vermont. Bluing is probably 90 to 95% with some rub wear on the sharp edges but this is typical of these guns. The serial number on the top of the slide matches the frame so it appears to be original as a complete unit. Being an import, it was required to have a safety added and this one has a thumb safety added to the frame. The date of manufacture was sometime in the 1940's but the safety that was added obstructs the last digit of that number. Both the left and right grips have the C.C.C.P. initials surrounding the Russian star.  The bore on this pistol is very nice. This pistol was made by Tula in Russia. The pistol will ship with an original leather holster and additional 8 round magazine. Magazine serial numbers are not matching. This is one really nice, somewhat rare piece of military history which I have been proud to have in my collection and I'm sure that you would enjoy having in yours. The pistol will ship in bubble wrap for maximum protection. All sales are final on this pistol. This pistol is C&R Eligible. The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice surplus firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these "Gun Safe Queens" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don't get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and at this point in my life I've decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me.
