The Great Lakes Firearms brand, proudly manufactured in Michigan, is rapidly gaining an esteemed reputation within the firearms community. Their Left-Handed rifle emerges from the Midwest, fulfilling a demand for an affordable, reliable AR. Designed with a .223 Wylde chamber, this rifle successfully exploits the ballistic advantages of both .223Rem and 5.56Nato. Each GLFA AR15 rifle is equipped with a 16" barrel, obtainable in either a polished 416r stainless steel finish or a smooth 4150 CRMOV black nitride finish, both with a 1:8” twist. Constructed with M4 feed ramps, these rifles are customized for left-handed shooters with the ejection port located on the left side of the upper receiver. Additionally, they contain user-friendly, ambidextrous controls for uncomplicated left-handed firing. The weighty barrel includes a carbine-length gas tube and a 0.750 Gas Block. Threaded to 1/2x28 specifications, these barrels sport a ported compensator that is hand-tightened to the firearm. Each barrel is encased by a 15.25" 6061 aluminum M-Lok handguard furnished with a comprehensive picatinny rail on top, ensuring compatibility with various accessory needs.
Boasting a 7075 forged upper and lower receiver, these rifles have a manageable weight of 6.8lbs. Great Lakes Firearms' dazzling colors and immaculate finish make them instantly recognisable. Great Lakes Firearms GL15223L BRZ is a left-handed model featuring an ejection port on the left side, contrasting the typical right side styling that many shooters are accustomed to.
