PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Hornady 050085 Universal Decapping Die is explicitly engineered to decap cartridge cases before the sizing process. Its robust decapping rod capably handles the decapping of even challenging crimped military cartridge cases. This decapping die is compatible with .223 Remington and larger cartridges.

However, it's important to note that it should not be used with Berdan primed cases. An additional unique feature of the Universal decapping die is its ability to decap military cases that come with swaged primer pockets, which generally tough on conventional sizing and decapping dies.
