PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Hornady B14 Bullet Comparator offers a reliable method for measuring loaded rounds, ruling out the unreliable and inconsistent method of measuring cartridge lengths across bullet tips, which can easily show variations up to .025" from one round to the next. The Bullet Comparator, with its smart design, measures rounds from the ogive, a trustworthy surface on the bullet, ensuring precise and consistent evaluations.

In addition to providing reliable measurements, the bullet comparator plays a crucial role in checking the uniformity of bullets from the base to the ogive. Designed for convenience, it easily attaches to the blade of your caliper with a thumbscrew and uses interchangeable inserts for ogive measurement.

The Kit comes with the comparator body and 14 bullet inserts for varying bullet diameters including .172, .204, .224 (5.56mm), .243 (6mm), .257, .264, .277, .284 (7mm), .308 (7.62&8mm), .338, .358, .375, .458, and .416.
