The LWRC SIX8™ A5 is a meticulously designed firearm that boasts black anodized receivers/rail. Its revolutionary LWRCI™ 12" user-configurable SPR-style rail system features an innovative cutback scallop design, providing easy access to the low-profile 2-position gas block. Additionally, it comes with a fully ambidextrous lower, encompassing bolt catch, mag release, and fire control access.
Key elements also comprise an ambidextrous charging handle and a black spiral fluted heavy barrel complete with an A2 birdcage flash hider. The LWRCI™ compact black stock has an integrated sling attachment point, while the package also includes Picatinny rail sections.
The SIX8™ Series are optimally constructed with a full-length top rail, and ambidextrous lower receivers, fully optimized for the 6.8x43mm SPC II cartridge. A unique feature is the patented self-regulating short-stroke gas piston, machined from aerospace steel alloy, readily accessible via two thumb screws.
Further enhancements include an enlarged ejection port and a LWRCI™ Enhanced Fire Control Group, coated in Nickel-Boron for a smooth, crisp trigger pull with positive reset. It also consists of a LWRCI™ Mark II Advanced Combat Bolt, coated in Nickel-Boron. A special bolt face groove collects dirt and brass shavings, providing superior operational reliability.
The firearm features coined forgings struck, heat-treated, and struck again for precise dimensional accuracy and high-quality surface finish. Its NiCorr™ treated cold hammer-forged barrel guarantees long-lasting durability. Other elements comprise Skirmish™ back-up iron sights, a Magpul™ Moe+ grip, both in black, and includes one black polymer mag.
