Lyman 7701008 Lyman PRO DIE PACK, 10MM/40 S&W

The Lyman 7701008 has been meticulously designed to handle the high demands of our Mark 7 presses. Yet, these precision dies can also be used effectively with regular progressive presses, as well as turret and single station presses. The material of the dies was of paramount importance during the design stage. We opted for stainless steel for our size, seat and crimp dies, as it offers unsurpassed toughness and resistance to corrosion, eliminating the worry of rust.

Our sizing dies come equipped with highly polished carbide rings for maximum wear resistance and minimized sizing force. They also include a spring-loaded decapping rod system, aimed at forcefully ejecting the primer from the primer pocket. For rifle sets, they are outfitted with our renowned M die neck expander, which includes a two-step expander plug, ensuring optimal neck tension and case mouth flare.

Continuing with the design of the pistol sets, they come with our flare die, meticulously crafted to allow bullets to sit properly on the case mouth before seating. One of the major features of our die sets is the Micrometer Seating die. It includes a micrometer adjustable seating head, allowing for high-precision bullet seating length. Furthermore, the floating bullet seating punch centers the bullet on the case, thereby eliminating any excessive run-out.

Lastly, each set is accompanied by a taper crimp die, which is adjustable via micrometer. This feature is designed to completely eliminate any case mouth flare and provide enhanced bullet retention.
