PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Magpul MAG248-FDE MAG248FDE, also known as the Mbus (Magpul Back-Up Sight), is a rear sight that sets high standards despite its affordable price. This back-up sight is created from color injection molded polymer, ensuring durability and longevity. Designed specifically for the AR15/M16 platform, it also fits most other weapons equipped with a 1913 Picatinny rail.

Featuring a dual aperture, this sight is adjustable for windage. It comes with a handy spring-loaded flip-up functionality that can be activated from either side or from the top. Reliable detent and spring pressure keep the sight erect while allowing it to fold unobstructedly under impact.

Conveniently, it clamps to the MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny/STANAG 4694 receiver rail and aligns at the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons. The protective wings shield the paired, on-plane flip apertures to keep them safe during use. The sight remains foldable even with a large or small aperture in the position. The detent knob facilitates easy and accurate windage adjustments.
