The RCBS 14601 is a two-die set designed specifically for reloading bottleneck cases. The set includes a Full-Length Sizer Die equipped with an Expander-Decapping Unit and a Seater Die which comes with a Bullet Seater Plug.
The Full-Length Sizer Die functions to adjust the case to the Saami minimum cartridge measurements, manipulating the case's external form, depriming and expanding its neck to accommodate the bullet. For added safety, the die features vents designed to prevent damage to the case caused by trapped air or excessive lubrication. It maintains headspace at minimum tolerances to ensure the case body length remains unaltered during full-length sizing.
In addition, the included Seater Die contains a built-in roll crimper. This unique design feature allows simultaneous bullet seating and securing, enhancing usability and efficiency.
