This Firearm Will Go Live on The Site for Sale at Noon E.S.T. on Monday Dec 8, 2025. Years ago, I had an Original Romanian Grade A Parts Set and a DC Industries NDS-3 Receiver along with enough U.S. parts to make it compliant. My friend Duane with Elite Custom Plating and Weaponry offered to take those parts and build this rifle for me which he did, and he did a fantastic job. He had also done custom plating for years primarily for motorcycles but was just starting to do it on guns and he also offered to plate it in a hard chrome finish. I said why not... and it turned out beautifully. Honestly, had I known at the time that it was going to turn out as good as it did, I would probably have provided a more pristine base rifle. The kit and receiver had a few very minor flaws in the original finish and those very minor spots are still visible even with the chrome, but it really doesn't distract from the gun. The magazine is probably where you see it most as one side of the surplus mag, I gave him was a little rough and you can see a slight difference between the chrome on one side as opposed to the other.... but again, I'm just trying to pick it apart now on your behalf so that I can be brutally honest in representing the gun. In real life, this has been standing in my office for a few months now and everyone that walks in says Oh my gosh, that is gorgeous. The images are of the actual rifle and are a very good representation. It features a brand-new U.S. made Green Mountain barrel with a 1 in 10 twist and it should be a great shooter and provide exceptional AK accuracy if you choose to shoot it. The hard chrome finish is tough as nails so no issues there. The fact is this is a real work of art. I simply have no need for it anymore so I'm letting it go. Original 7.62x39 caliber, New U.S. Barrel, 45 Degree Muzzle Break, Original Laminated Wood Stock and Laminated Dong Handguard. This rifle is in as new condition and is an absolute work of art. Rifle comes complete with cleaning rod and a 30 round magazine and ships in a hard case for maximum protection. This rifle has been represented here through images and description with 100% accuracy as I know it and if you are not comfortable buying it based on this information Do Not Make the Purchase. All sales are final on this rifle. This rifle requires a full FFL. The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice surplus firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these "Gun Safe Queens" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don't get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and I've decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me.
