This Firearm Will Go Live on The Site for Sale at Noon E.S.T. on Monday Dec 8, 2025. I purchased this rifle from Classic Firearms for myself on Jan 18th, 2013, so almost 13 years ago. I know this because I looked it up in our Bound Book. I immediately took it home and put it in the safe. Still in the box, still in the rust wrap, still with the manual, still with a 20 round Mag and a 5-round mag. Just like we once sold them back in 2013 before Russian Molot firearms were banned from import. I chose this particular one for me for 2 reasons, One, it was a .308 and that has always been my go-to caliber, it also had the shorter barrel and the traditional AK sights which I liked and it had been factory converted with enough U.S. made parts to make it 922r compliant so that it came with and could accept 20 round mags. The other reason was because of the stock on this particular one. This walnut stock has one of the most beautiful grain patterns that I have ever seen and frankly not only is it a very functional and useful battle rifle in this configuration, but it is also in my opinion a work of art. Anyway, I have never fired this rifle, and it has literally been in the box in a climate controlled safe now for over 12 years. All sales are final on this rifle. Full FFL required. The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these "Gun Safe Queens" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don't get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and I've decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me.
