SDS Imports RAIDER 1911B45RDG: Tisas firearms new 1911 comes in a fresh Flat Dark Earth cerakote. This is Tisas version of the iconic M45A1. This full-size pistol features all-steel construction on the frame and slides with a 5" hammer-forged barrel. The model has Tan G10 grips and the trigger housing is undercut, allowing a better grip. Also featured is a black solid trigger and a skeletonized hammer. This model features Novak-style 3-dot sights and an ambidextrous extended safety selector. Among other great features on this pistol are the front and rear slide serrations making the slide more comfortable to grip and manipulate. A cock and lock style grip safety comes standard on this platform. This model also comes standard with a Picatinny rail system, which makes mounting tactical accessories a breeze. Each pistol comes complete with two-8 round mags, cleaning brush, and manual, in a factory hard case. Note - Accepts all standard 1911 .45 mags and accessories.
The Duty model exhibits the same reliability as the baseline G.I model that we have experienced so much success with, but adds a number of upgrades. In fact, this high-quality pistol offers several custom features but still maintains a standard production price point. It is a lot of pistol for the money.
The basis of the Tisas B45RDG model is an all-steel frame and slide with a 5" hammer-forged barrel. The slide is topped off with easy-to-acquire Novak-style 3-dot sights. Other features include an extended and ambidextrous slide safety which is easy to manipulate for left or right-handed shooters, as well as the grip safety offers that traditional "cock and lock" carry option that 1911 fans love dearly. Another great feature is the enhanced hammer and trigger, which consistently broke for us at around 1.7 lbs. This model also features an accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers. We have evaluated this pistol from top to bottom, and the fit, finish, function, and performance are all of very high quality. It is a tremendous amount of gun at a very affordable price.
Many times we get to hold and describe quality that is hard to imagine unless you are holding it in your own hands, but the bottom line here is that you almost have to pick one of these incredible pistols up for yourself in order to see why our Classic Firearms team has grown so fond of them.
