Introducing Aero Precision's latest addition to their handguard collection, the APRA501533A ATLAS R-ONE. Manufactured with 6061-T6 Aluminum, the R-ONE handguards are distinguished by their weight and size, making them the ideal selection for a lightweight model. The ATLAS R-ONE harnesses Aero Precision's exclusive ATLAS attachment system, combining a slim profile with the durability and stability Aero Precision handguards are known for.
A distinct Bordeaux Red Anodize finish gives your build a remarkable flair without being overly vibrant. The rich, dark red shade is perfect for standing out in a competition, gracing a bedsheet-themed r/AR15 post, or even blending in at an active volcanic site.
The Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is praiseworthy in both function and aesthetics. The system utilizes two mirrored tapered locking nuts for evenly distributed clamping pressure over a custom-engineered barrel nut through a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent reinforces security while facilitating a positive registration during installation. The ATLAS system helps prevent the usual handguard distortion seen during installations.
An ATLAS Handguard purchase includes all necessary mounting hardware.
ATLAS Handguards are designed to integrate seamlessly with Aero's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers and any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers. However, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs.
Important: ATLAS Handguards are NOT designed to be compatible with Aero's M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver.
NOTE: This part features a colored anodized finish. These finishes are held to different aesthetic standards than parts finished in black anodizing or Cerakote. The lighter coloring allows certain aesthetic marks on the material to be visible through the finish. Some may show more or fewer signs of these defects, but the parts are guaranteed to be quality and in spec. There are also slight color variances between different materials when colored anodizing is applied.
