Aero Precision APAR612218M7: Another great product to come out of Aero Precision's factory in Washington is this M4E1 barreled upper. Built off of their proprietary M4E1 upper receiver, it is forged 7075 T6 aluminum and designed to look like an enhanced billet upper while maintaining the strength of a forged piece. The M4E1 upper is a modern design with no forward assist Aero knows that with a modern build with modern ammunition, a forward assist is not needed. The barrel you get with this upper is of premium quality 4140 CMV with a QPQ coating for corrosion protection and 1:7 rifle twist perfect to keep both 5.56x45 and .223 Rem ammunition accurate.

The Aero Precision upper features a mid-length gas system with a low profile .750 gas block. At the tip of the 5.56 barrel, it is threaded 1/2 x 28 and fitted with an A2 flash hider. Free-floating around that amazing 16" barrel is Aero Precision's Enhanced Gen 2 Handguard. The 15" Enhanced handguard features M-Lok mounting along the full length on the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions with a full-length Picatinny rail on top of the handguard. Mount all of your favorite lights, lasers, and grips; this handguard and receiver combo is one of the strongest on the market, thanks to Aero Precision's mounting hardware. 8 torque screws hold the full-length handguard to the M4E1 upper receiver. The handguard features three QD sling mounting points on the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, so there is no need to add an aftermarket sling attachment point. This barreled upper is ready to be fitted with a BCG and charging handle of your choice. After that, mount it to your favorite AR-15 Lower, and you have an amazing modern rifle.
