Brutus' Description

AR-15 Rifle .223 / 5.56 NATO Caliber Semi Auto Flat Top Rifle W / M4  Barrel, and  30 Round Mag  by Bear Creek Arsenal.

Chambered for .223 Wylde which accommodates Std .223 Remington as well as 5.56 NATO rounds. Beautiful Smooth Parkerized Finish. 1 in 9 twist rate on barrel is highly accurate with a variety of bullet weights.

This is bar none the best AR-15 Rifle Value in the U.S. today.

We have torture tested these rifles and I would put them up against anything being sold for reliability...

Now don't get me wrong... There is nothing fancy here... Just a basic M4 AR-15 Carbine... But if you want a great entry level AR, at a really great price....

Give this Bear Creek Arsenal  AR-15 a try. Ships complete with a Carbine Length AR-15 Hard case and 1-30 round magazine.... Standard M4- Flat Top Rifle....

Note : Rifle comes to us as a Flat Top and is sold as such. They ship with one 30 round mag in a hard shell case.

Note -  Stocks may not be as pictured.  AR-15 build componants are in short supply due to heavy demand. As such the Butt Stock on these rifles may vary depending on availability at the time that they were built. They will always be a T-6 collapsible stock but may be in different configurations by different manufacturers depending on availability. We do not offer an option on the stock and simply sell and ship them as they are received.

Some photo's show rifle with Rear Sight / Carry Handle, Halographic Electro Sight, or Barska 3x9x40 Scope Installed. These are optional and do not come with this rifle. They are shown here for demonstrative purposes only, but must be purchased seperately.

Scopes, Extra Mags, Drum Mags, etc... may also be purchased with the rifle. The scope you see in the photo's on the rifle is a Barska 3x9x40 Colorado series... This particular scope comes with rings and mounts up to this AR-15 right out of the box.... The rings it comes with are low profile so it makes for a very low profile scope package.... If you like for your scope to ride higher on the rifle just replace these factory rings with any medium or high ring set. Also, many people ask, do you not see the front sight through the scope??? The answer is no.. You do not... I don't know why, it is right there in front of the lens... but it does not show up though the scope... You have an unobstructed clear as a bell view downrange as far as the eye can see..... It must be magic... Note - We have tested these extensively and they work great, however, for some reason these rifles do not seem to like the Thermold brand mags... We recommend the Tapco, or C-Products mags..... Our Korean Military 100 round drum mags work great too.

The barrels on these are made from 4140 cold rolled steel and are very top end.

They are not chrome lined as most AR-'s are not. Chrome lining on modern rifles is typically used where there is a high probability of corrosive ammo being used such as AK type rifles chambered for foreign calibers...

Since chrome lining may slightly affect accuracy, and since most AR-15 rifles are designed with accuracy as a benchmark,
and since virtually all .223 / 5.56 NATO is non corrosive...most AR manufacturers do not chrome line barrels.

If you ever wanted to take your AR-15 into the woods strapped to your back on a four wheeler but feared for the safety of your current range queen AR with fluted barrel and hydro graphics than your wish have been answered.
This is a highly reliable work horse that can take any thing you can dish out.
Zero buyers remorse in what is the most affordable AR you can get and Limited Lifetime Warranty too.

Very happy with the rifle and the order
Review by Thomas on 6/25/14
Quality
After 200 or so rounds of steel cased .223 junk (tulammo, Monarch) with no jams, misfires etc. I posted a short video of a full mag dump (30) at a 10" X 14" steel plate @ 60 yds. with a cheap centerpoint red dot. I have no complaints as of yet. This rifle shoots well, arrived on time, (thank you classic firearms), and I will post another video later after 800-1000 rounds. I will raise my rating to 5 after putting more rounds downrange with no hiccups.

A great rifle for the money.
Review by Mitch on 5/14/14

Overall, this is a great rifle for the money. There are a lot of negative comments on forums about these rifles from people who don't even own one. Look at all the reviews on here and you will see that very few people are unhappy with these. I bought 2 of them and have different plans for each of them. At this price, you can afford to customize it to your needs without ending up with $2,000 invested int it.

Excellent AR, Excellent Price
Review by Robert on 5/4/14
Quality
Finally time to review. First off, I got it before the shipping got too bad--still a couple of weeks, but not the 6-8 it is at the moment (not really CF's fault). That's bad by Classic's high standards, but you cannot do anything about Supply and Demand: you get what you get when you delay your ordering, and they warned you in advance. The case was nice and big: plenty of room for the 5 extra mags I got along w/ the AR. Rifle was clean and nice--am so used to buying older rifles filled w/ cosmoline that I forgot what it was like to buy something new. NATO and .223 work very well. The only thing I had problems with was the really low grain .223. I had bought some Rem 45-grn .223 when I first got this rifle (did not notice the 45 until after) and it did not have the oomph to blast the bolt back all the way and cycle the next round. I told my buddy about this and he said he had never even heard of a 45-grn round of .223 before. Lesson learned. Tried regular 55-grn and everything worked as it should. Overall I am extremely happy for what I paid and got, cannot wait until I get red-dot or something similar on it and really get to go to town. Thanks once again, Classic!

This is an excellent AR-15, cost effective, excellent build quality, and great performance.

In this video we fired Bear .223 steel cased (a Russian ammo), American Eagle Federal .556 brass case, and BCL .223 once fired brass reloads. All ammunition typed fired very smoothly through this beautiful weapon.

My first AR 15
Review by Steven on 8/10/16

I received my rifle on Friday. I just had a chance to go to the range today to try it out.
It seems to fire correctly. My problem is me, not the gun. I bought a BSA Red and Green Dot Sight. I have never used a sight before. So i am having a hard time sighting in. Once I zero it in I will give a better review. So far I am happy with the rifle.
I am truly happy with the service from Classic Firearms. I will purchase from them again.
Love it

Took a while to get, but how that I have it , it looks and feels great. Been 30 years sence I picked up a rifle like this. Brought back a lot of memories. Have not had a chance to fire yet, just had knee surgery so will be a few weeks before that happens, but doubt very much I will be disappointed. A very solid build.

Bear Creek Arsenal review
Review by FTC/SS on 7/14/16
Quality
So after reading the reviews and watching You Tube Video's, I took the plunge and decided to buy this AR.
Why this buy this one over other AR's in the market? here is what I looked at: Price, reviews, lack of feed issues, basic version few options, accuracy.
What did I actually get after shooting the Rifle? Great price, Accuracy (very nice groups 6 in round targets only a few fliers in the outer ring, Open sights no scope at 50 and 100 Yards) No feed issues, At the range where ejection of spent rounds is a consideration this rifle sent them between 1 to 2 o'clock so as to not hit your shooting partner.
Classic you once again delivered a great gun at a very good price.

First AR from Classic
Review by James on 6/30/16
Quality
Having ordered other items from Classic, including a recent Bulgarian Makarov, I know that I would have no issues. Placed my order a few days after the Orlando incident, motivated to get a low-cost AR with all of the discussion about banning them! Ordered on a Thursday, delivered to Dealer the following Thursday. Ordered an extra mag and 500 rounds on the same day...that took two weeks while the AR shipped in 1. Love the extra bonus of the black plastic case, AR fits nicely along with 4 mags. Taking it to the range next week. Thanks Classic.
Finally have it
Review by Chris on 6/1/16
Quality
I bought this on4/26/16 and Just picked it up 5/31/16 at my local FFL here in California. Although I waited way too long for this it wasn't Classic firearms fault. It took a couple of weeks to ship and then the California 10 day ticker started on it. BTW, I think the 10 day wait period should not apply to online purchases, but that's what I get for living in Communist Cali. The weapon is a really solid and after cleaning it up a bit and adding some CLP this thing has smooth action and functions perfectly. Haven't had it to the range yet, but will hit it before the week is out. Mine came with a carry handle, hard case, 2 mags, the original mag release button, and the three shells used to functions test the weapon. Great weapon!
Shoots All Steel Case Ammo
Review by UNAVAILABLE on 5/31/16
Quality
I read hundreds of reviews about this AR and never got the answer I was looking for on whether or not it was reliable with various steel case ammo. I bought the rifle anyways and decided to do a test myself. The rifle functioned perfectly with no FTF or FTE with TulAmmo, Brown Bear, Silver Bear, and Golden Bear ammo. Other brands have yet to be tried but I am more than satisfied that I can stock up on cheap ammo versus expensive brass case. The price is right for both the rifle and the ammo. Do yourself a favor and buy now before November when it'll be twice the price (or out of stock).

I worked for over a year getting the pieces to build my ad 15 I bought a BCA complete upper and married it a PSA lower. I'm in love with this rifle. classic is correct about the thermold mags, I got one when I ordered the upper and kept getting FTF, got a P-mag and haven't had any issues at all. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase, classic firearms is a great site and will be getting my buisness. thank u for making this guys dream of owning a ar-15 come true.

We bought 2 of these when classic had them for $499. These have a very nice finish and are a very high quality build. At the range my local class 3 dealer and decided to throw the bca complete upper on his registered custom lower. And it ran flawlessly. Hope u enjoy the video.. Classic firearms you rock n roll.thanks again

Having ordered other items from Classic, including a recent Bulgarian Makarov, I know that I would have no issues. Placed my order a few days after the Orlando incident, motivated to get a low-cost AR with all of the discussion about banning them! Ordered on a Thursday, delivered to Dealer the following Thursday. Ordered an extra mag and 500 rounds on the same day...that took two weeks while the AR shipped in 1. Love the extra bonus of the black plastic case, AR fits nicely along with 4 mags. Taking it to the range next week. Thanks Classic.
    Finally have it
