The SAM5 receiver by Arsenal is milled from a hot-die hammer forged receiver blank by Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Its 5-ton hammer forging process effectively eliminates internal voids and cooling deformations. Post forging, the receiver blank undergoes over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly.
