The Beretta J42XN16, also known as the A400 Xtreme semiauto shotgun, is your perfect partner for either upland or waterfowl hunting as well as target shooting. The shotgun's action enables quick follow-up shots and comes with in-built rails for easy optics mounting. One standout feature is its exclusive Blink technology that facilitates shooting at a pace 36 percent quicker than any other semiauto shotgun.
Its synthetic stock, a fusion of Beretta's Kick-Off system and an extremely soft Micro-Core butt-pad, is designed to reduce recoil and parallel it to the cheek mount for enhanced comfort. The barrel, coated with the OptimaBore HP finish, guarantees maximum resistance against water, powder, sand, and salt spray. The A400 Xtreme Plus model is further enriched by Beretta's proprietary Steelium Plus barrel, ensuring top-notch patterning with all hunting loads and providing additional felt recoil reduction.
In addition, the barrel equips a step rib with an integrated mid-bead and fiber optic front bead, and elongated forcing cones. The stock incorporates a soft comb that significantly minimizes the felt recoil to the shooter's cheek. Other features of the A400 Xtreme Plus include a larger loading port, an extended charging handle, and bolt release, supplemented by the Aqua Technology coating for maximum resistance in harsh environments. This model showcases a 26" barrel and comes with five (5) black extended Optima HP choke tubes, and an Optifade Timber stock and receiver.
