The Carlsons 80170 Ported Bone Collector Turkey Choke Tubes boast an exceptionally tight, pattern-tested constriction that yields incredibly concentrated patterns with every variety of shotshell ammunition used for turkey hunting. These include lead, nickel-plated, copper-plated, bismuth, hevi-shot, tungsten, and TSS.
The tubes' extended taper section leading to the constriction - the parallel section of the choke tube - guarantees tight patterns with fewer flyers, resulting in more pellets accurately hitting the target with each shot.
Crafted with precision from 17-4 heat treated stainless steel, the Bone Collector Choke Tubes sport a non-reflective matte black finish for discrete hunting. Each tube's constriction has been thoroughly pattern tested to ensure optimal performance with #4 through #10 shot.
For larger shot sizes exceeding #4, a more open choke tube is recommended to achieve the best patterning. Always remember to pattern your shotgun choke tube with the specific shot shell load you plan to use, as differing types and manufacturers of ammunition can produce varying patterns even from the same choke tube.
