Companies around the world are dropping new products to fulfill their customer's desires, and Colt is no different by reverting to a legendary classic and bringing it up to modern standards. When Colt first started bringing back its famous line of snake guns, people around the firearms industry were buzzing and began asking for their favorite of the Colt snake guns: the Python. Colt teased dedicated revolver fans with the launch of the King Cobra in 2019. However, in January 2020, the wait is over, and Colt has decided to re-launch the world-famous Colt Python revolver. The 2020 Python features a modern stainless steel alloy and a re-designed rear sight. Thirty percent more steel beneath the rear adjustable target sight gives you a stronger revolver and more robust shooting experience. A recessed target crown, user-interchangeable front sight, and Walnut grip with the iconic Colt medallion make this a gun that looks just as good as it shoots. The Python is chambered in .357 Magnum and also accommodates .38 Special cartridges.
