This manual cocking, single-shot bolt action rifle is designed with a safety feature that includes a rebounding firing pin which is automatically blocked to prevent unintentional discharges.
The Generation 2 models of My First Rifle boast special features such as the EZ Loader, which greatly simplifies the process of loading your Crickett (excluding the 22WMR model). Installed swivel studs are also included, apart from the Ex Stock model.
On the contrary, the Generation 1 models, mainly available at Big Box retailers, lack the EZ Loader and installed swivel studs.
Specifications assigned to all models, unless otherwise stated, include - Caliber: .22 S L LR WMR, Capacity: Single Shot, Weight: Under 3 lbs., LOP: 11 1/2, Barrel: 16.1 (available in either blued or stainless), Rifling: 1:16, OAL: 30, and Sights: Adjustable Rear Peep / Fixed Front Post. The Ex Target Models, however, offer a Bull Barrel and come with a Scope Mount, excluding the sights.
